Casino Association of Indiana Elects New Officers
INDIANAPOLIS - Jim Brown, President and General Manager of Casino Aztar Evansville, has been chosen to lead the Casino Association of Indiana for a third consecutive one-year term.
In the post of CAI Chairman, Brown will guide the organization's advocacy, education and communication efforts on behalf of the casino gaming industry in Indiana. All 10 of Indiana's casinos are members of the CAI.
Joseph Domenico, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Harrah's East Chicago in East Chicago, was chosen to fill the post of CAI Vice Chairman, and Roger Archibald, Vice President of Government Relations, Argosy Gaming Company in Alton, Illinois, was selected to serve as Secretary-Treasurer of the group.
"Jim brings a very valuable perspective to this position, having been involved in casino gaming since its inception in Indiana," said Mike Smith, CAI Executive Director. "He provides strong, deliberate leadership needed by our organization with all 10 of the properties coming to the table to consider their common goals and challenges."
The casino gaming industry employs a total of 16,555 people statewide and accounts for billions in taxes, incentives and fees to all levels of government in Indiana.
